Layered electronics?

So, I discovered that layered WIFI particles working fine, transmitting sparks to their chanells and fittting in single pixel. Is it possible to do the same thing to other electronics? I tried to layer some ARAY, TESC and other pixels but only top layer works when sparked.

Electronics hugely rely on checking neighbours for e.g. sparks. An ARAY won't care where it exactly is in its own stack as long as it can see the spark in its neighbourhood. In fact, if you had really tried layering ARAY, you should have gotten at least one pixel of "long BRAY" due to the second ARAY's shot getting stuck in that of the first.Edited once by LBPHacker. I stacked one ARAY, TESC and LCRY and ARAY was on top. When I sparked it, only ARAY worked.
Edit: Also, when I sparked three stacked ARAY pixels no longlasting BRAY appeared but they started to sometimes skip shots.

Oh yeah, apparently, what I had in mind with ARAY only works through at least one pixel of FILT. As for TESC and LCRY, both take sparks passively (so it's really the spark propagating onto them by itself), and SPRK indeed only sees the particle on top in neighbouring stacks. There's this distinction between active and passive electronic elements; the more interesting ones tend to be active, which is what I meant by their looking for sparks in their neighbourhood.

So, I can create layered electronics but not with all types of pixels? If so, which electronics are passive and which not?
