This is a known issue, that will be fixed for the next version. It only happens on Android.

Even though it's a pretty major bug, it didn't receive much attention until recently.

One workaround, it doesn't actually crash until you scroll. So don't scroll down, only play with the options visible on the screen, and take care not to scroll it even one pixel while changing them. There are no interesting options at the bottom if you were able to scroll.
