Reproduction: sexual, oviparous, females lay up 2-10 eggs at a time, which take about 7 months to hatch

Skin desc.: covered in feathers, typically black or dark gray in color, although lower legs and beak are not covered in feathers.

General Physical description: Conetheans are a species of sentient 6-limbed birds similar to Corvids of Earth, except bigger, smarter, and with 3 very long prehensile tongues, these tongues are recorded to be on average 5 meters long, with the longest being 20 meters and are used like how a cephalopod uses its arms to grab food and manipulate their environment along with 2 4-fingered hands and arms. they're native to a mountainous region called Conethea, located in the central part of the western continent. Conetheans have a polyamorous family structure, typically with one central individual and 6-7 other individuals of the opposite sex. Conethean genetics are unstable, mutations happen regularly and the Infant mortality rate is high because of birth defects, however, this also means that certain mutations that are helpful in surviving are bred back in via surviving children, causing evolution to happen faster than most other species.

Culture: Conethean society is very much like early human societies, social classes, trade, and other things commonly found in a society are present, however, due to the fact that they have powered flight, borders aren't really a thing with conetheans, and ideas travel fast, so pretty much all conethean villages are united under a single kingdom. Conetheans are very, um, "romantic" due to the high infant mortality rates, family units can have dozens, even hundreds of children, keeping the population relatively stable. Conetheans were little clothes to not restrict movement, although the chest and crotch areas are covered by simple cloth coverings. They worship the Bird Goddess Coneth, who in myths, created the birds and the mountain ranges they live in, in fact, Conethean in their language means "children of Coneth"
