So, there was once a user in The Powder Toy known as 'SamDwich' who had an idea. In this idea, the cows would have their own language, known as 'Bovine Latin', which would be the language of Bos DoubleF(Powder Toy cows). Now, he wants this to become a reality, even if only confined to the Boviniverse.

So here's the general goal: Construct a conlang for use by the Cows of TPT. It needs to resemble English but with different word order and special characters, and of course, the words need to be more Latin-looking. There are very few examples of Bovine Latin being used as of writing this, but here are the characters and basic construction of the language:

Anyone can contribute to this conlang with suggestions and ideas, so make sure to help us make the bovines their own unique language!

-No, this will not be an official language, please don't try and speak Bovine Latin as your main language unless you want to flex on a monolingual weakling at the bar or something. Remember, the official language of TPT is still English.

-Don't expect this to be the new Esperanto, which was made in 1887 and has like 2 million speakers. This is also comparatively going to be much harder to learn than Esperanto, so that will definitely make it less popular.

-The Powder Toy is a falling-sand game originally created by Stanislaw K. Skowronek (also known as Skylark). It is now developed and maintained by jacob1 along with various other contributors on GitHub. The Powder Toy is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3.0.^[3] A total of 185 different in-game materials (or "elements"), each with custom behavior and interactions, are available in the game.^[4]

 this is now dead. dead as hell. I'm gonna make a new one. there's no way in hell that the latin alphabet would be even partially shared between languages halfway across the galaxy.
