    While experimenting with stacked photon memory, I discovered that the "stack 6 particles or higher makes BHOL" function doesn't apply to photons.  Not that I'm complaining since this makes data storage easier, but is this intentional?

    Yes. Energy particles like PHOT naturally stack, so the BHOL behavior is disabled for them, they don't count towards the limit.
