Following the rules can get tricky, but sure, go ahead.
By the way, you don't need a vm for a secondary profile, you just need to tell one of your TPT instances where to look for the data directory. The default one is %appdata%\The Powder Toy, but if you start another TPT from a folder that has a powder.pref in it, even if empty, that's where it'll root its data directory. -
To avoid breaking the rules, I suggest not voting with the secondary account. Especially on your own saves, but even on others. Everything else is fine.
The even easier way to avoid accidentally breaking rules is to only use one account though. Perhaps you have your reasons though, I've used two accounts for years also. -
That can be pretty hard to make , i still cant really make vm emulator to see a folder/disk from main system though i used vbox enough to understand many stuff in it (virtualbox as example here)
edit: the program itself says it is connected and works fine but the virtual machine doesnt show that it is connected

i meant if you want to make the data folders same for both in vm and on pc
