    Borax, BRX, is a soft, solid mushy crystal that can break down when on water, can be melted when aproximately at 75°C or more. It could be needed to simulate factories easier. Not much more to say.

    What chemical reactions do you want the borax to be capable of? What should it break down into? I think itroducing boron with borax creation as one of its reactions would be cool, because boron has real world uses to harden ceramics and glass and make them more heat resistant (for instance borosilicate glass aka pyrex).

    Being tangible; Borax can be liquefied with water, other reactions may be useful like desinfectating VIRS, Borax is a good disinfectant too. It's like a solid soap.
