Let me first say that as someone with aspergers, I am not great at social cues or tone control. Most of my saves are, frankly, **** (really really bad). I have over 20 pages of unpublished saves that are just me messing around with other people's saves. Taking cities, melting them down and refining/separating the elements based on temp and chemical reactions. There are also my unpublished saves that I avoid publishing because they are just for me (think, assets I created but are not intended to be standalone). So I by no means mean any disrespect at all or intend to condescend when I say this:
Make better saves. I have a lot of bad saves, but I am (I think) a fairly obscure player, only really known for having hands down the cutest lil organism (assuming we limit the contests to organisms that contain no organics), a comparison between burning things (that I ironically made so that I could choose what to burn to melt down cities) and the greatest CRMC factory in the game (with unrivaled output purity). I have a save that I actually plan to unveil soon that has taken weeks to make, balancing this against studying for my PhD. Having played the game since second grade, I can safely say, I am not great at the game.
In the old days, to get on FP and stay on it, it was simple. Make a good save, and add to it over the course of a week (the max time you can have on FP for one save). Now, a new (*its been around for at least 5 years I think*) voting system exists where FP is determined by "popularity", that is, the average votes a save recieves divided by the time since posting. Not sure if thats EXACTLY how it works, but a save published between two save browser refreshes on the sort by date can instantly get fp if someone votes for it.
If the save is good, it gets more and more votes. If it is bad, it used to be that it would (funnily enough) stay on fp for awhile as it got massively ratioed, but now it just gets kicked off. The goal is, make a save that draws attention based on its preview picture in the browser. That only gets users to maybe open the save (coupled with a fitting title). Then, you need to have something that gets them to vote. Telling them to vote will get you banned tho lol. So instead, give them a reason to stay on the save. The longer someone spends on a save, generally it is more likely that they will vote for it.
Your "The real cauldron" is literally a diamond beaker with a line of plasma clone. Meanwhile, your "Dual planet" seems to have some good interaction with commenters, and for that you got some votes. I cannot stress enough that there will be quite a lot of frustration if you focus solely on votes. You may spend hours, days or weeks on a save only for it to be beaten by someone who is freakishly good at making pixel girls. Your save may be bumped because someone else put in a low effort meme. Frankly, there are many types of users out there, and you can't appeal to all of them. You have, in about 18 months, only published 6 saves. None are "dynamic" by which i mean the cauldron flames burn and the rocket engines fire, but there is nothing to really look at past a glance.
So, you can embrace static saves (art, bunkers, cities, ships, ect) that are nice to look at and are fun to blow up with the exception of art, which usually blows up if you just unpause. Or you can embrace dynamic saves. Factories, games, computers (calculators, typewriters, ect ect). A mix of both types is also good, especially starting out, as it helps you find what are are good at (and more importantly, not good at).
Not going to lie, some of yours saves, if I saw them as they were published, I would probably have downvoted. But you are asking how to get known, you want to be more of a part of the game, and (I hope) you want to make better saves. If i did downvote when I saw the save uploaded, I would probably give a much shortened version of this feedback, but most will not tell you why they dont like it. Right now, there is nothing wrong with your saves, but there is nothing of substance. They are nice and symmetrical (seriously, best noob dmnd beaker I have ever seen, usually its just a sloppy U) and the only critique of your "Dual Planet" save I have is that there are, in fact, 3 planets.
One thing that I do like is that you don't have a ton of really really low effort saves (talking about saves that maybe had a minute of effort go into them by someone on mobile using their nose while blindfolded). I have tons of them, but they are not public, and neither are yours if you have them. You need more saves and those saves should be as good as or better than your planet saves. I feel like I have very little right to tell you this as I myself am not great at the game, but its a question I think you need answered.
