TPT on mobile being "outdated"

I'm having problems playing TPT on mobile. The brush has a delay from where I click to actually filling the space with any selected element, also the game crashes after few minutes (sometimes seconds) of being open.
From time to time it pops up a system message that says something along the lines of "the app was made for older versions of android" and that is the reason why it doesn't work properly.
Is there any way to solve this?

The brush delay happens on Samsung phones and tablets. Sadly, I don't know why (and I don't have one to test with), I haven't done much to look into it though. There's a new Android port in the works though and we already confirmed the issue doesn't happen there.
The crashing, I haven't heard much about that. So the app closes on you a lot?
"the app was made for older versions of android" means they are being really strict, it's targeting a version only 2 years old. The upcoming 99.0/99.1 version targets the latest version. If you want, you can download that here:

So, I tried out this version you mentioned and it doesn't crash!
Also the "the app was made for older versions of android" pop-up doesn't show up!
It used to crash quite a lot, where it would actually close the app, but now (after trying this version) it didn't happen once!
Brush delay is still present, but that's because I play on a Samsung, so oh well...
Idk if it is of any help, but it seems that the TPT version that can be played online works just fine on mobile! No crashing nor brush delay!
