Will the online version be updated

    I am currently on a chromebook, playing pitifully on the browser version, and I decided that I wanted to play TPTMP 

    But uhhh

    It says there is no Socket API, and that my game might need to be updated

    Is there a way to update or play TPTMP on the online version?

    For technical / browser security reasons, it isn't possible for the web version to open a socket to the TPTMP server. So it won't work there. TPT is already up to date, it just can't handle TPTMP.

    Chromebook is not a browser, it uses Chrome OS, which is a linux distributive.
