About the banned users...

    Shouldn't already banned users, who currently have FP saves, get demoted until the ban expires?

     The banned users with a perma ban are the ones who have the demoted saves, the ones who have a ban level less then a perma ban preserves their saves. Take a user that got perma banned, you see they have no saves.

     I see, but how about demoted saves that are still published? Those exist! It should really be:

    Ban=No FP! A simpler, fair punishment!

    I don't think there's a need to overcomplicate the front page formula like this. Right now, any published eligible save can appear. Banned status isn't a criteria, or even available to the formula logic. Adding it to the logic would just slow it down.
