    very simple question of which i have no idea the answer to "Does PHOT Decay In Pipe?"

    Particles are not simulated inside the pipes (since technically they are the pipe), so no.

    You could genuinely test this by putting a photon in a pipe... its not that hard, you didnt have to wait 20 minutes if you could spend 1 minute.
