    idk, is he? because the name jacob1 is kind of specific, and is his name actually jacob? plus, why not jacob5 or smth, just something that crossed my mind

     In that username the number doesnt represent an order of something, its used less like a number and more like a replacement for a taken username.

    you are somewhat right, but then again, isnt jacob1 the main moderator for tpt? so why would he need a replacement for a taken username

     @jacob1 registered in August of 2011, while @jacob registered at January of 2011. So most likely, he planned to just be called "jacob" but that was already taken.

     

    Okay, so @jacob1 is the second jacob because of @jacob lol

    In my case I planned to be called Tadpole but someone took it and since tpt is my first social account,I registered to be Tadpole1 everywhere instead.
