    when i try and set the temp of any element it randomly selects a tempature for me for example i tried this command

    set temp watr 200

    it set the temp of all the watr in the simulater to -73.15 c

    why is this happening

    temperature from console is in kelvin.
    200K is -73.15C
    K-273.15 = C

    You can't. Just add 273 to any value you want.

    Kelvin is ultimately simpler (e.g. you don't have to type any negative values)
    although you may just have to get used to it or memorize some values.

    I'd rather put a dash before the number than adding two hundred and seventy three which isn't simple and takes longer!

    Prehaps there should be an option for preference. ( depending on how simple it would be to do so, which i have no idea of)

    If you want room temp, just put in 300. It gives you 26.85 or something like that
