Many modern explosives are basically flame- and smoke-less. Such an explosive would be nice to have in TPT, as fire (and now smoke) often become heaps, clogging tubes etc.
Maybe the explosive could produce fire, but only very short lived fire.

To make it a bit more special, it could only be ignitable by a shockwave (not pressure itself like NITRO) in the form of a pressure gradient between two adjacent particles. You would need i.e. a small portion of C4 or NITRO to ignite.
