I noticed that sometimes when you make a thread the words "&quo..." appear at the end of the title, why would that be?

I think it is the server replacing " with &quo because as it tries to shorten the title it messes up formatting?

It is the HTML equivalent for a quotation mark (").
Looks like a bug in the forum-software.

It's a bug caused by the shortening of strings after the substitution of HTML entities.

If you're using php your could use htmlspecialchars_decode before the shortening and htmlspecialchars after it.
