I see a lot of reactors and nuclear things on TPT, and I was wondering several things. A) Are they just Rube-Goldberg machines? B)What is the specific intent/purpose of a reactor in TPT? C)What are the guidelines that decide whether or not something is a legitimate reactor?
A vessel, especially one in industrial use, in which a chemical reaction takes place. That is the definition of a reactor. Most people make reactors on TPT to create electricity. A Rube-Goldberg machin is a complex thing that usually does something simple. For instance: The "Self-Operating Napkin" is activated when the soup spoon (A) is raised to mouth, pulling string (B) and thereby jerking ladle (C) which throws cracker (D) past parrot (E). Parrot jumps after cracker and perch (F) tilts, upsetting seeds (G) into pail (H). Extra weight in pail pulls cord (I), which opens and lights automatic cigar lighter (J), setting off skyrocket (K) which causes sickle (L) to cut string (M) and allow pendulum with attached napkin to swing back and forth, thereby wiping chin. That is a Rube-Goldberg machine.
thats the thing, reactors are complex batteries. Its a challenge. EDIT Most people don't want to use a battery because they don't want to look lazy or look like a noob so the make complex forms of a battery.
