No, really, why can't we? Half the threads I see here are bashing PG in some form. Yes, PG is relatively low quality, yes, TPT is in almost every way better, but does that mean every other post has to be continually bashing it? Can't we get along? PG being what it is is no reason to bring it up at every opportunity that presents itself.
Some people like PG. That does not make them inferior to you and that does not give you an excuse to arrogantly rant about how they are and PG is in every way some horrible game. Look, the torch of this style of game has been passed many times now. First from some Japanese blog, to FSG, to PG, to PT, but you are the only one I've seen that bashes the most on what was popular before you. PG's 'glory days' are long gone, and the genre is yours now. Don't mess it up.
Now, I'm going back to working on my interactive nuclear reactor.
...Uhhh. I might be odd but the only person I've actually seem adamantly defending Powder Game is Rock-. Or at least, the only person to persist in doing so regardless of all evidence posted against.
Though I'm all for any measure to prevent people from slighting one another, considering the audience here it would be wiser to make measures to prevent people from being snobbish, than a blanket rule forbidding comparisons between TPT and other games.
...Also, it's been pretty well established by this point that TPT originated well before PG did :P Even though I don't think it got quite the same popularity, considering PG comes up on google searching for "physics sim"
Teensy problem with that: It's not just trolls. Believe me, if I showed you the quotes and the people that said them, you would know it isn't just some obscure troll.
