    sound victory.wav
    Gives me the error:
Audio device not available - cannot play sounds
Speakers are on, does the code automatically lock sounds?

It appears that SDL cannot find your audio device. My best advice is this, update your drivers and google for problems with SDL finding audio devices. On a side note(not causing the problem), you may want to ensure that victory.wav is in the directory TPT is being OPENED into. If powder toy is in C:\D1\D2\, it may be opened in C:\D1\.

Sound is disabled by default. Start Powder Toy with the command line option "sound"

(That error message should really be made more descriptive... :P)

    Update drivers how?

...I'm beginning to sense a problem with not reading the instruction manuals of computers.

    Will not work.
Both sound and normal scale:2 will come up as:
The name '"C:\Users\John\Downloads\Powder Toy\Powder.exe"sound' specified in the Target Box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
