I searched for a thread like this, and was suprised to find there wasn't one, but here it goes. This is a thread to discuss which Linux OS you prefer. Options: 1. Ubuntu 2. Mint 3. Other (must specify)
You can't say any distro is "better". Ubuntu is very multipurpose and is good for window users just switching(same with mint though). openSUSE is better for laptops and has good graphics. And of course you have the linux distros with SPECIFIC purposes.
I'me curious to know what people here think about Ubuntu vs Kubuntu.
I have very little experience with Linux OS's though these two seem like two I am going to have a go with. (I've used Ubuntu briefly and I really like the way you don't feel so much like your only seeing what has happened after everything is done though...I don't know what I'me talking about though I do like how it lets you do stuff without having to get round millions of things trying to stop you doing them)
@jalfor(View Post) I'm woundering about this because I'm thinking about dual booting, and wondering which one I should choose, the two that stand out for me are Ubuntu and Mint
@TheWiseEyes(View Post) It says Debian isn't very responsive compared to other ones and as the system I will be running it on is not very fast I want one that will run fast
