Photons doesn't properly heat up

    I got a problemm with this cannon the Photons wont somehow properly heat up and can hardly melt down a Metal stick. How i am doing it wrong?

    some of the photons aren't touching the heating elements

    i made the heating slightly better but personally i think you need to make the laser longer and add more heating elements so the photons have more time to heat up.
