I think that should just be a change to the way concrete works. Once concrete has been left long enough it turns to a solid which stays where it is.

use AIR and COOL and WATER and what not to make it cure faster

yes, my first powder game experience; pyrosand 2, (not advertising, just an example) had that feature that ply is talking about, concrete is initially a liquid, but after a few seconds it solidifies.
