Photon speed?

    I just realized that in powder toy, photons travel at about the same speed as broken metal falling. Should photons travel at the speed of light? A.K.A. like a bajillian times the speed of falling broken metal.

    If it was that fast, how would you see what you could do with them? Like color them, light plant and wood on fire etc.!

    I think this has been discussed before, and really, if it were that fast, we'd never be able to contain it. Besides, you can increase the speed with WHOL, and in 47.3 A wall combination of GLAS and GLOW.
