Well, some days ago i was watching something in national geographic and they said some stuff about salt :P
Boring story. Well, but i created this topic to suggest something:
Salt element (SALT) should melt at around 500ºC and when melted, become a great heat insulator. This means, it's hard to cool down, even tough its easy to heat up more :P
Not sure if this will be used but well thats how it workd in rl
    Oh btw.
Water is the only thing, except cool down tool, that will cool down salt easily. Liquid sault would be LSLT
EDIT:i noticed it turns into lava at 1000ºc. If you tell me its the same thing, it's not. Also, lava is awfull keeping heat :P

I'm sorry but what's wrong with you? Seriously, this suggestion is quite good and it's not a repeating of some previous idea. Finalflash, do you actually think that attacking the poster before even reading the whole post (you even admitted it: "I don't know if it is the same as your description") is right?

On the topic: I think it's one of those rare suggestions that could be actually useful. And the name, well, it's possible to just name this thing some other way than salt, isn't it?

But Dwotci.... salt really isn't a good heat insulator.

i can see how you came to that conclusion, by only reading the first 2 lines anybody would think it was a suggestion for salt.
even i thought it was a salt suggestion until i saw "melt".

no actually, when salt is melted it can keep lots of heat. Google is your friend. Use it before complaining.
