Is there an example of how to use the new heat simulation feature anywhere? ...or can someone give a quick tutorial...thanks :)

Ok, I figured it out but does anyone know how to make something stay the same temperature?
Example: I made a generator and I want it to constantly be a temperature of say 300 degrees...so how do I make it stay 300 degrees..because if I just heat it manually with the HEAT...it cools off very quickly.. -
make various and wait until all temp turns to 300, next erase all and put one in the center...,i think..
