Really? it worked for me.

More detailed instructions:

1. take a chunk of lava
2. press ~
3. type !set ctype LAVA BTRY
4. press ~
5. unpause

If it dosn't work this time, you must be doing something wrong

lol it worked last time i put set type not ctype

Turn off heat and pour lava on it I believe. I'll test.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot. You're supposed to turn off heat and put plasma beneath it. It will be slow at first but it will work.
