    And for clarification, this only applies to HEAC-ELMT (ELMT=any element besides heat-blockers) or HEAC-HEAC temp conduction, not ELMT-ELMT conduction.

    I individually saw this and tried to make a way around it. In all 8 directions, the HEAC's field of influence extends to 4 pixels. If there is no INSL in the 3-pixel space between HEAC and something else, it will just conduct its heat there.

    HEAC looks at itself and the particles 4 pixels away in all 8 directions, and sets the temperature of them all to the average temperature, which is why this occurs.

    Correction: apparently doesn't have to be exactly 4 spaces, but that seems to be the maximum range. Which means you can use it to transfer heat between things that aren't physically connected
