Every time a save of mine gets even a little recognition, it will be voted down for no obvious reason. I've noticed a lot of front page saves get voted down for no reason too on a much larger scale. I have a few suggestions.
1. Make people write feedback if they vote something down 2. Remove the vote down option completely (this has stopped drama and vote trolling on many sites)
@LT 1. Too obligated, makes people write stuff just cause they don't like something. it's their personal opinion. 2. Nope, as long as vote-ups exist. Also, I saw your saves, they aren't quite excellent, but also not bad. Maybe try ignoring anyone that does such. Just cause you'll create trollbait with such topics.
There is a serious lack of decent saves going on, we try to keep the useless art ones off. But right now basically everything is not very good so they may get removed pretty fast, they aren't always downvoted off. Trying to fix it up a bit now.
For the record, asking people to comment saying why they downvoted is technically against the rules. :P I don't know why everyone's been doing that lately, it's not like people are going to tell you precisely why they hate stuff.
Don't worry, I've got a cool electronic save on the way. It's true that there are no good saves on the front page at the moment. Maybe the moderators should pin a bunch of good saves up. Really the only good ones at the moment are the processor, being ruthlessly downvoted because noobs don't understand it, and the circular saw, which is actually an original idea. As well as Cateilte's Mk II iron -> metl converter (the first one didn't get past me...)
