The current filters for photons are useless as filters. At least call them "colorers" or something. Real color filters don't change a photon's color but block all other photons wich aren't the right color. If we had a filter that blocks photons that aren't of a certain color; it would be very useful. Applications for this include much much more compact and efficient spectrometers and various other spectrum-related machines

Actually there are 2 modes but is missing a 3rd mode that WOULD be realistic.
There is the "colorer" mode that colors any photon. There is the filter mode that passes all colors EXCEPT the desired color (useless filter).
Then there is what a filter SHOULD be (what they are in real life), and that would be a filter that only passes photons of ONE SPECIFIC COLOR. Currently NO VALUE OF TMP produces this effect.
